WAU Restaurants are a group of family run restaurants, owned by Yoon Phin Chew and his wife Joanne Chiew. Mr Chew has had over 30 years’ experience of cooking and has worked as the Head Chef in some of the finest restaurants in Asia & Europe. His wife, Joanne has over 20 years’ experience in the F&B industry. The first restaurant; WAU Asian Cuisine, was opened in 2006 and quickly became well known as the best Asian Cuisine restaurant in Trim. After a year, they expanded and opened its sister restaurant in Kells in 2007. Following the success of these two restaurants, Chew's new restaurant has just opened in Ratoath, with authentic Asian & Japanese delicacies ; a meal worth the wait! WAU Restaurants have now steadily become a popular choice with locals and tourists alike.

ATMOSPHERE & SERVICE
WAU restaurants interiors are elegantly decorated with modest lighting, candle-lit tables, beautiful crockery and genuine Asian art & furniture. Our restaurants seat approximately 130-200 people in relaxed, comfortable and informal surroundings. We offer an extensive variety of high quality food in Chinese, Japanese and Malaysian style cuisine. The staff are extremely attentive and cater well to crowds – it's the perfect place for party or family celebrations. A warm and friendly atmosphere ensures lunch or dinner is always a pleasurable experience. We specialise in restaurant dining, take away and delivery service.
Food
Our menu is inspired by the fantastic cuisine of Asia & Japan. We have chosen different recipes, cooking methods and ingredients from across the continent in order to make fantastic tasting and healthy meals for you. Our chefs have spent a lot of time perfecting our recipes and source only the finest, freshest ingredients. We use Irish beef and 100% fresh chicken breast. Our food is prepared fresh daily and is cooked to order. Our sushi is made fresh to order and never left over from the previous hour. Not all sushi shops are as dedicated to freshness as we are here at WAU. Our broad menu has a tempting range of hot and delicious food, made with fresh and exotic ingredients, combining a wide selection of meat and seafood dishes. Also, we offer Gluten-free and MSG-free dishes, ensuring the healthiest cuisine at WAU.

Delivery service is provided to local areas with minimal charge. We deliver in all types of Irish weather conditions!
